When we ask your guys what your biggest challenge is with bass fishing, one of the top issues that always comes up is how to deal with snags or getting stuck in the weeds.
Well, today I want to share with you a cool trick that helps me get unstuck about 80-90% of the time.
I'm not going to lie that it works 100% of the time, but it's definitely worth giving it a try - especially when it's your favorite lure that is stuck.
I was able to find a cool video from Wired 2 Fish that explains what you have to do step by step.
Having said that, obviously the best way to avoid losing your favorite lure is to not get stuck in the first place.
There's some tips that we'll cover over the next couple of weeks, but one great way is to use snagless baits and presentations that are much less likely to get stuck in the first place.
Let us know what your favorite tips is for avoiding or getting out of snags by dropping a comment below. We'd love to hear from you.

I purchased a 18 ft. telescopic lure pole that paid for itself on the first trip out. It saves money in retrieved lures, but you can ruin a good ambush spot.
